We are staying at Løvtag on our Danish Adventure! The first of Løvtag’s exclusive and comfortable cabins – out of potentially nine – is ready in the summer of 2019. Designed by architect Sigurd Larsen, the cabin has a “ground floor” with a double bed, a double sofabed, kitchen, toilet and shower as well as a rooftop terrace under the canopy eight meters above the ground. The cabin is built around a large, old pine tree that goes straight through the cabin’s floor and roof.
The treetop hotel is situated in a small forest by Als Odde, a rural destination in the northern part of Denmark close to both the sea and Mariager Fjord. It is a peaceful and beautiful area without mass tourism, and perfect for biking, hiking and fishing.
